Liverpool and Manchester City target Milos Kerkez has posted on Instagram after the final game of the season.

The left-back has been one of the best in his position this year and has impressed for Bournemouth.

He will be allowed to leave the club this summer, and he has indicated he doesn't know what the future holds.

In an Instagram post, he said: "38 games, 38 started, we finished the job and broke the record, thanks to the fans and everyone for support, thanks to the gaffer for trusting me to start all 38 games and special thanks to the one above for keeping me safe and healthy and of course nothing would be possible without my family, I don’t know what will happen in next week but cherries family thank you!"

Aston Villa are set launch an official complaint to the Premier League over the referee today.

Thomas Bramall was appointed the official for the match, and he made a crucial error.

At 0-0, he thought Altay Bayindir was fouled by Morgan Rogers, but the goalkeeper didn't have the ball under control.

Rogers scored, but because the referee blew his whistle, VAR couldn't intervene.

Manchester United then made it 1-0 down the other end through Amad Diallo.

And Villa want to know why such an inexperienced referee was given this game.

An emotional Trent Alexander-Arnold has been reflecting on his final Liverpool game.

The defender was booed on his previous game at Anfield, but he received a top reception today.

And after the match, he had a chat with Sky Sports.

He said: "I didn't know what to expect stepping out at Anfield today after what had happened a few weeks ago.

"But I wanted to play for the club one more time.

"To get the reception I got means more than anything to me.

I've played hundreds of games for the club, but I have never felt so loved and so cared for than today.

"From the bottom of my heart, I hope that the fans and the supporters will be able to recognise the hard work and everything I've done for the team.

"There wasn't a day that I didn't think about the team.

"I have loved every single minute of it."

It's not just at Anfield where there are emotional goodbyes, as Callum Wilson looks to have played his final game for Newcastle United.

The striker joined the club in the summer of 2020 and his deal expires at the end of the season.

There has been no suggestion that he will be extending after failing to score a Premier League goal this year.

However, he's been a top signing for the Toon, scoring 49 goals in 130 games.

Wilson has been with Newcastle through the relegation battles and also the highs.

But injuries have taken their toll, and he received a sublime send-off from the St James' Park faithful.

Well, that is it for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

354 appearances, 23 goals, 92 assists, two Premier League titles and one Champions League.

But it's all over.

He is going to join Real Madrid, but before he goes, there is one more parting gift.

And it's clearly all getting a bit much for him.

Tottenham have finished the season in 17th place in the Premier League.

They have lost 22 games across the campaign, and that ended today with a 4-1 defeat, but equally, they did win a trophy.

Of course, you can't ignore the league form, but football is about winning things, and the Europa League is a top prize.

It means more to fans and players alike, and one man who definitely deserves the success is Heung-min Son.

The captain has been with Spurs for so long and has been a sublime player for them.

He has been revelling in the celebrations since Wednesday, and has ow had his own lap of honour with the trophy.

If anyone deserves that sort of treatment, it is Sonny.

Over at Anfield, Liverpool finally have their hands on the Premier League trophy!

The Reds have dominated the top-flight this year.

They were crowned champions about a month ago, so they have just been waiting for this moment, and what a moment!

There are also no boos for Trent Alexander-Arnold as he picks up his medal on his last Anfield appearance.

It ensures there is no sour end to his time on Merseyside, and there will be some party now.

Right, that is the 2024/25 Premier League season done.

It's been Liverpool's year, and they are now going to receive the Premier League trophy.

Below them, no one could match their consistency, but some teams have still had unforgettable seasons.

Newcastle United claimed Champions League football, and the Carabao Cup - ending their 70-year domestic trophy drought.

Crystal Palace won their first-ever trophy with the FA Cup.

Tottenham also ended their trophy drought by claiming the Europa League.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal will also be in the Champions League.

Aston Villa are in the Europa League, and Nottingham Forest will also be in Europe with the Europa Conference League.

Manchester City are in the Champions League.

It was a very comfortable win for the Citizens as they extended their ridiculous run over Fulham.

That is now 18 wins in a row against the Cottagers.

It's a good end to a disappointing season for City, who won nothing major.

Enzo Maresca's men have done it!

Chelsea have sealed a spot in the Champions League and finished fourth.

The Blues turned in a professional performance at the City Ground, with Levi Colwill scoring the winner.

However, Nottingham Forest miss out on both the Europa League and Champions League, having spent most of the season in the top-five.

They will be in the Europa Conference League, which is still an incredible season from Nuno Espirito Santo's men.

THAT'S IT, THE FINAL WHISTLE BLOWS, AND IT IS THE EUROPA LEAGUE FOR ASTON VILLA!

The Red Devils were the better team from start to finish, and grabbed two goals through Amad Diallo and Christian Eriksen.

The Villans were down to ten men after Emiliano Martinez was sent off.

But the game swung on a controversial goal that was ruled out for a foul on Altay Bayindir.

However, the referee blew his whistle before the ball hit the back of the net, meaning VAR couldn't check, and that has potentially cost Villa a spot in the Champions League.

The final whistle blows at St James' Park, and barring two goals for Aston Villa, Champions League football is back on Tyneside.

The Magpies didn't take care of business, but they've been helped out big time by Manchester United.

In truth, they won't care.

It is the best season Newcastle have had in the Premier League.

The club ended their trophy drought and should be playing elite European football next year.

Alexander-Arnold's time as a Reds player comes to an end, and the right-back is overcome by emotion.

He's given a consoling hug by Elliott as the rest of his team prepare to lift the Premier League trophy.

That has to go in!

Matz Sels comes forward and drills the ball into the box.

It's perfect for Chris Wood.

The striker brings the ball down on his thigh, and then fires over from six yards.

It's looking like the Europa Conference League for Forest.

GAME OVER!

AND VILLA'S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE HOPES ARE OVER!

Christian Eriksen sends Robin Olsen the wrong way.

The Red Devils are going to beat the Villans, and they are going to stop Unai Emery's men from making UEFA's premier competition.

At St James' Park, there is an eruption of noise.

They know they will claim fifth place, and that last Champions League place.

The referee points straight to the spot, and it's a penalty for Manchester United.

A ball is played into the box.

Amad Diallo is there, and Ian Maatsen stands on the back of his Achilles.

And it's a spot kick.

Christian Eriksen to take...

So close to 2-0!

It's lovely play from Manchester United that ends with the ball finding Christian Eriksen.

The Dane opens up his body from 20 yards and bends a strike at goal.

It's a great effort that smacks the outside of the post.

SALAH STRIKES TO EQUAL THE RECORD!!

Nunez stands up a deep cross from the right-wing that Gakpo heads back across for Salah to lash past Henderson into the net.

The Egyptian moves to 47 goals and assists in a Premier League season - level with Alan Shearer and Andy Cole.

But crucially, Salah does it in a 38-game season, with the two legends he now shares the record with doing it in a 42-match season.

THAT IS MASSIVE!

Down one end, Aston Villa should have the lead, but it is Man United who have it instead!

Amad Diallo, the former Sunderland man, might just have saved Newcastle's Champions League hopes.

The Red Devils have missed chance after chance, but finally, they take one.

The goal is excellent as well as Bruno Fernandes drills a cross into the box, and there is Diallo to head home.

Aston Villa think they have a goal, but it's not going to count!

Altay Bayindir makes a terrible mistake, and the ball is loose.

Morgan Rogers nips in and scores.

However, because the referee blows his whistle before the ball is put into the back of the net, VAR can do nothing.

That almost certainly would have stood if the referee had just waited until the ball hit the back of the net.

JOB DONE!

Manchester City are awarded a penalty, and Erling Haaland makes no mistake.

The striker steps up.

He slots the ball into the bottom left corner, and City are going to claim third.

However, the latter is standing offside!

THAT IS HUGE!

Everton have the lead, and that puts Newcastle out of the Champions League.

The Toon make a change as Eddie Howe brings on Kieran Trippier for Sven Botman, but it's a defensive shambles.

Carlos Alcaraz is unmarked, and he heads home from a Vitaliy Mykolenko cross.

Jacob Murphy fails to track the run of Mykolenko, and Alcaraz has a free header.
