A bumper Sunday Premier League schedule is here and talkSPORT has you covered with all the latest.

Newcastle took a giant step towards securing Champions League football after beating 10-man Chelsea 2-0 in the early kick-off.

Man United and Tottenham slipped to 16th and 17th in the table ahead of the Europa League final following defeats to West Ham and Crystal Palace, respectively.

Drama then ensued in the late kick-off as Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw with Arsenal after the Gunners had given them a guard of honour.

The headline story from Anfield, however, was the negative reception received by Trent Alexander-Arnold following confirmation that he would leave his boyhood club.

Ruben Amorim admits he could leave as Manchester United manager with the Red Devils emulating form from when they were last relegated.

They may have booked their place in the Europa League final but Man United's domestic misery continued with a 2-0 defeat to West Ham at Old Trafford.

The result sees Amorim's men slip to a lowly 16th in the Premier League table with Man United losing 17 of their 36 league outings this term.

While relegation isn't a danger this season, their form replicates that of the 1973/74 season - when Man United were last relegated from the top flight - with their 17th defeat the most league defeats they've suffered in a single campaign since they last went down.

Amorim succeeded Erik ten Hag as Red Devils boss in November, signing a two-and-a-half year deal, but admits his days at Old Trafford could be numbered sooner rather than later.

The Portuguese also suggested that their Europa League final date with Tottenham merely papers over the cracks on the bigger problems at the club.

"Everybody here has to think seriously about a lot of things," Amorim told the BBC.

"Everybody is thinking about the [Europa League] final.

We need to change that.

"It's a decisive moment in the history of the club.

"We need to be really strong in the summer and to be brave because we will not have a next season like this.

"If we start like this, if the feeling is still here, we should give the space to different people."

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed his anger after his side were forced to battle back from 2-0 down to claim a draw at Liverpool on Sunday.

The Gunners paid the price for a lacklustre start as they conceded twice in quick succession early on to the newly-crowned Premier League champions at Anfield.

They battled back to draw 2-2 with goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino - who was later sent off - but that could not mask a poor opening in which the Gunners could have been punished further.

With Arsenal having appeared to struggle following their Champions League semi-final loss to Paris St Germain in midweek, Arteta described the first-half performance as "unacceptable".

Asked to elaborate how, he said: "A lot of parts - especially the defending standards and the errors after we gave the ball away, which is totally prohibited against this team.

Sorry with the words that I use."

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has no concerns about continuing to pick Trent Alexander-Arnold despite the defender being booed by his own fans in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

The right-back was targeted by a significant section of the Anfield crowd when he came on as a substitute after confirming on Monday he will not be extending his current deal with the newly-crowned Premier League champions when it expires this summer.

Alexander-Arnold, who is expected to join Real Madrid, was subjected to loud jeers as he was introduced as a 67th-minute substitute and that continued with most of his touches.

"The thing I consider is I want to win a game of football and if we think we can win with Trent, I owe it to his team-mates and to the fans, because they (Liverpool) hired me to win as many games of football as possible," said Slot.

"And if I think there's a better chance of winning with Trent, then I will (pick him).

"If I think it's a distraction or whatever can happen for us not to play a good game of football, then I might make another decision.

"But I think Trent showed today why I brought him in because he was very close with a few fantastic crosses for us to win the game."

Alexander-Arnold looked stunned at the final whistle as team-mate Luis Diaz put a comforting arm around him.

Slot tried to put a positive spin on things by insisting the reaction was mixed but the volume of the boos suggested it was more than a minority voicing their opinions.

"It is definitely difficult for him," said the Dutchman.

"Maybe he is positively surprised how the reactions were.

The moment he had to take the free-kick, everybody was cheering for him to score and he was close.

"I am not sure if he has negative feelings about today…maybe, maybe, I haven't spoken to him."

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has congratulated the efforts of Nuno Espirito Santo and his players hours after his furious meltdown at the club's manager today.

Forest's Champions League hopes suffered a blow as they drew 2-2 with rivals Leicester at the City Ground on Sunday.

Having been in the top three for much of the season, they have slipped down to seventh after recent results.

The Greek businessman, who also owns Olympiakos, animatedly threw his hands up in the air during a heated conversation with the Portuguese.

Despite the disappointing result, Forest are now guaranteed European football next season, something the club last experienced 30 years ago.

But hours after the incident, Marinakis released a statement celebrating Forest securing European football for the first time in three decades, saying his outburst was out of frustration over the decision not to take off an injured Taiwo Awoniyi in the closing stages of the game.

Marinakis' statement on Instagram read: "Today is a day for celebration because after 30 years Nottingham Forest is guaranteed to be competing on the European stage once again, a promise I made to our supporters when we achieved promotion!

"With two more games to go in the Premier League, we must keep believing and keep dreaming, right to the final kick of the game.

"We are extremely proud of and close to Nuno and the team, and we must celebrate the historic achievements of this season.

"Everybody - coaching staff, players, supporters and including myself - we were frustrated around the injury of Taiwo and the medical staff's misjudgement on Taiwo's ability to continue the game.

"This is natural, this is a demonstration of the passion we feel for our club."

Jamie Carragher has warned Liverpool fans that all the players in the dressing room aren't as loyal to the club as they might think.

He said this in response to Trent Alexander-Arnold being loudly booed by a selection of Liverpool fans during their draw to Arsenal today with the right-back set to join Los Blancos on a free transfer this summer.

Arsenal, out of nowhere, it's a brilliant second half from them."

Alexander-Arnold is on and boos ring out around Anfield - there is a smattering of applause from select Liverpool fans in response.

The wantaway defender replaces Bradley in a like-for-like change, but Liverpool fans continue to sign the latter's name as he comes off.

Arsenal fans have been fuming at Liverpool supporters over a controversial banner of Mikel Arteta.

‘Always the bridesmaid, never the Bride’ was a banner in the Kop end before kick-off, with Arteta holding a bouquet while wearing a dress.

One fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "That Arteta bridesmaid banner is cringe ngl."

Another said: "The Arteta banner is classless, I can’t lie - Do you think we’d be mocking up Pep or Slot as Humpty Dumpty or some other bald egg if we won the league?"

A third added: "Nah that Arteta banner is a foul lmao if you think I’m supporting stomping on a bleeding guy on the floor you’re right."

THE BRAZILIAN PULLS ONE BACK!

Within two minutes of the restart, Martinelli guides a header into the far post.

Bradley stands off Trossard, who cuts inside and stands up a cross that sails over Konate.

Martinelli gets between the two Liverpool centre-backs, and his flicked header catches out Alisson.

Martinelli has scored six goals against Liverpool in all competitions (4 of which have been at Anfield), his joint-most against an opponent for Arsenal (also 6 v Crystal Palace).

In fact, it is the first overall since April 2023 v Southampton.

Liverpool's xG of 1.95 is most Arsenal have faced in the 1st half of a PL game since August 2021 v Chelsea (2.18).

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis appeared to argue with Nuno Espirito Santo on the pitch moments after the full-time whistle against Leicester.

Gary Neville was dismayed by the incident and said: "Scandalous from that Forest owner.

"Nuno should go and negotiate his exit tonight with him!
