Wolves are closing in on a £17million to sign Getafe sign Christantus Uche, talkSPORT understands.

The 22-year-old only joined the Spanish side last summer, but he is already set for an exit to Molineux.

Uche chipped in with four goals and six assists in 33 LaLiga matches last term.

It was the first campaign of his career that he was plying his trade in the Spanish top-flight.

And the attacking midfielder is already up and running this term having scored and assisted in Getafe's 2-1 win at Celta Vigo last weekend.

Crystal Palace are one of a number of Premier League clubs that are keen on signing Atletico Madrid star Conor Gallagher, talkSPORT understands.

The England international only joined the Spanish side from Chelsea in a £34million deal last summer.

But a host clubs are looking to bring him back to the Premier League.

Palace have made an enquiry over bringing Gallagher back to Selhurst Park.

The 25-year-old spent the 2021/22 season on loan with the Eagles, where he scored eight goals in 39 matches in all competitions.

Meanwhile Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to have shown genuine interest in the midfielder.

But as it stands at this moment in time, a return to England seems unlikely for Gallagher.

Leeds have agreed a £10million package fee with Leicester in their quest to sign James Justin, talkSPORT understands.

The 27-year-old is set for an instant return to the Premier League following the Foxes' relegation to the Championship.

An initial £8m fee has been agreed, with a further £2m to be paid in potential add-ons.

It is believed that the versatile full-back is currently undergoing a medical ahead of his proposed switch to Elland Road.

Justin has spent the previous six years at the King Power Stadium after arriving from Luton in an £8million deal.

In total, Justin has featured in 168 games - scoring on 11 occasions - with his form from the 2021/22 season seeing him rewarded with a first England senior appearance against Hungary in the Nations League in June 2022.

This campaign, Justin started in Leicester's opening two games, but was left out of their squad in Saturday's 1-0 win at Charlton.

Bruno Fernandes has played down suggestion that referee Chris Kavanagh put him off moments before his penalty miss.

As Fernandes was composing himself before taking fire, the match official accidentally brushed into him.

Fernandes looked immediately over at Kavanagh, with it suggested that the referee inadvertently scuppered his penalty routine, which played a part in him blazing the ball over the bar.

But the Portuguese midfielder was quick to state that he was solely at fault for failing to put the ball in the back of the net - though has claimed Kavanagh's actions left him upset.

He told Sky Sports: "I was upset.

It was a bit of relief."

And it ends all square at Craven Cottage!

Emile Smith Rowe has earned Fulham a point after Rodrigo Muniz's own goal just before the hour mark.

United will feel as though they should have claimed all three points having Bruno Fernandes miss a first half penalty.

Meanwhile Matheus Cunha hit the post and spurned a one-on-one in the opening period in west London.

The result means that both teams are still searching for a first Premier League win this season.

United, who won their previous eight matches at Fulham, host Burnley next weekend.

As for Fulham, they face rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in their final game before the international break.

Emile Smith Rowe has equalised - what an introduction off the bench!

Brought on in the 71st minute, the ex-Arsenal midfielder scored with his first touch just 93 seconds later.

Alex Iwobi curled in a speculative cross which evaded Matthijs de Ligt.

And there was Smith Rowe six yards out to tap home beyond Altay Bayindir.

Game on!

Manchester United have opened the scoring in the 58th minute at Craven Cottage!

They lost from an Arsenal corner last week, and they've broken the deadlock from one this weekend!

Bryan Mbeumo whipped in a delivery with Leny Yoro meeting the cross.

His header deflects off Rodrigo Muniz and wrong-foots Bernd Leno before trickling over the line.

This could easily go down as an own goal with it unclear if Yoro's attempt was on target.

But Fulham fans will feel aggrieved that the goal stands, with Yoro seen pushing Calvin Bassey moments before his header.

VAR failed to intervene, with United celebrating their first goal of the season.

Another first half, another period without a Manchester United goal.

Since the start of last season, the Red Devils have failed to score in the first half of a Premier League match on 29 occasions.

Incredibly, only Italian side Genoa have endured more goalless halves [30] than United from teams in Europe's top five leagues.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was the only United player to create a big chance for the visitors.

His hoofed pass sent Matheus Cunga racing clear on goal, only for Bernd Leno to expertly deny the Brazilian.

Bruno Fernandes has blazed over a penalty!

Manchester United were awarded a spot-kick after referee Chris Kavanagh went to the pitchside monitor which showed Calvin Bassey manhandling Mason Mount to the ground.

But the Red Devils skipper couldn't keep his 38th minute effort on target.

His strike sailed high and left over the bar - much to the shock and dismay of the Al Ittihad target.

It's the Portuguese playmaker's first penalty miss from the spot since December 2023 in the 2-1 win against Chelsea.

Porto are optimistic in their quest to sign Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, talkSPORT understands.

The Primeira Liga giants are closing in on an initial loan agreement with a buy obligation to bring the Poland international to Portugal.

Kiwior has been on Porto's radar all summer as they look to win a first league title since 2022.

The 25-year-old has been facing an uncertain future this window with Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba remaining Mikel Arteta's preferred centre-back pairing.

Kiwior was left out of Arsenal's squad for their 1-0 win away at Manchester United last weekend.

And he was an unused substitute in the Gunners' 5-0 win against Leeds at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

talkSPORT understands that Kiwior's preference is to leave the Premier League if he departs Arsenal.

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard have dealt Arsenal a major boost with their respected injuries not believed to be as serious as first feared, talkSPORT understands.

The duo both went off injured in Saturday's 5-0 win over Leeds at the Emirates Stadium to send the Gunners top of the table.

Boss Mikel Arteta confirmed that Odegaard picked up a shoulder knock, while Saka felt something in his hamstring.

While many Gooners stressed that the pair could face months on the sidelines, it's believed that early indications suggest their injuries aren't as serious as initially feared.

talkSPORT understands that neither injury is considered to be long-term.

Though it remains unclear at this stage whether next weekend's clash away at Premier League champions Liverpool will come too soon for the duo.

Arsenal are then not in action until September 13 due to the international break, to give Saka and Odegaard extra time to recover if needed.

Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has once again been left on the bench by Ruben Amorim.

The striker, who was a second half substitute in the 1-0 defeat against Arsenal last week, has been omitted from the line-up against Fulham in Sunday's 4.30pm kick-off at Craven Cottage.

Sesko is still building up his fitness having trained alone at RB Leipzig before his move to England earlier this month.

United have made just one change to the team that lost to Arsenal, with Amad Diallo replacing Diogo Dalot.

As for Fulham, they have made three changes from the team that drew 1-1 at Brighton.

Rodrigo Muniz replaces Raul Jimenez up top, Ryan Sessegnon comes in for Harry Wilson and Timothy Castagne has dislodged Timothy Castagne in the line-up.

Crystal Palace's wait for a first Premier League win continues after they were held to a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park.

Ismaila Sarr broke the deadlock in the 37th minute after volleying home a Daniel Munoz cross.

But Callum Hudson-Odoi equalised for the visitors in the 57th minute.

The former Chelsea winger latched onto a through ball from Dan Ndoye, where he made no mistake when one-on-one with goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

Palace thought their luck was in when Sarr went down in the box deep in injury time following a challenge from Murillo.

But VAR adjudged Sarr to be in an offside position when he picked up the ball, forcing the Eagles to have to settle for a point.

They now face Aston Villa in the final game before the international break, with Forest to welcome West Ham at the City Ground.

A dream first match for Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium!

The Toffees beat Brighton 2-0 in their first home match in front of their own fans at their new stadium.

And in doing so, they have recorded their first victory of the campaign following their defeat at Leeds last time out.

Jack Grealish starred for the Merseyside outfit as he picked up two assists - matching his total tally for Manchester City from his last two Premier League campaigns.

His cross in the 23rd minute found an unmarked Iliman Ndiaye at the back post, with the Senegal international tapping home into an empty net.

Grealish then picked out James Garner outside the box, with the ex-Manchester United man rifling home an effort into the bottom left corner.

Brighton almost made it a nervy finish after winning a penalty, only for Danny Welbeck's effort to be saved by Jordan Pickford.

Next up in the league for Everton is a trip to Wolves, while Brighton host Manchester City in their quest to record a first Premier League win this term.

Nuno Espirito Santo insists he wants to stay in charge of Nottingham Forest despite a breakdown in his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis.

Reports emerged on Friday claiming there is increased tension between Espirito Santo and Marinakis.

The Reds were said to be looking at alternative managers despite finishing seventh in the Premier League last season and winning their opening match of the 2025/26 campaign 3-1 against Brentford.

And the Portuguese boss even admitted his relationship with Marinakis is strained on Friday, which has infuriated the 58-year-old.

In his pre-match press conference, Nuno said his relationship with Marinakis was 'not the same' and 'it is not so good as it was [last season].'

However, speaking ahead of Sunday's match at Crystal Palace, Nuno strongly denied claims he was trying to engineer an exit from Forest.

He replied: "That's nonsense, that doesn't make any kind of sense.

"The state is that we are focused on the game, that's more important."

Quizzed further on whether he wants to continue as Forest head coach, Nuno said: "Of course!

That's what we need to do, and we're going to do it.

"Not today, of course, because it's the match, but soon, of course.

The former Wolves boss added: "There's no speculation around anything.

What we have is to communicate - how we're going to approach the final days of the market, how we're going to approach the new season, how we're going to prepare our boys."

HISTORY MADE!!!

Ndiaye, who scored both goals during Everton's final match at Goodison Park in May, has written himself into the record books again.

It's a classy goal - Dewsbury-Hall moves the ball to Grealish on the left, who drops the shoulder to race away from Wieffer into the box.

The Man City loanee drives to the byline and squares a low ball across the face of goal for Ndiaye to slide into an empty net from close range.

talkSPORT understands Graham Potter is safe as West Ham manager for now, but is already under boardroom pressure to turn around their poor start to the season.

The Hammers have lost both their first two games, conceding eight goals in the process, following Friday's 5-1 thrashing at home by London rivals Chelsea.

Sources close to David Sullivan say the West Ham owner is concerned by Potter's wider record of only five wins from 20 Premier League games since replacing Julen Lopetegui midway through last season.

talkSPORT understands Potter believes he is being hamstrung by previous poor recruitment, which means he can only spend what the club bring in from sales.

He would also have liked to keep Mohammed Kudus, who was sold to Tottenham for around £55m.

Crystal Palace renew hostilities with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League's early kick-off after months of battles off the pitch.

The Eagles qualified for the Europa League with their FA Cup victory but have been relegated to the Conference League.

An appeal was dismissed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS] amid a breach of UEFA's multi-club ownership rules.

Forest wrote to the governing body expressing concerns over Palace falling foul of the rules, and will play in the Europa League instead.

With tensions between the two sets of fans at an all-time high, Palace have warned their fans against anything that'll put their club into disrepute this afternoon.

Manchester United transfer target Senne Lammens has not been named in the Royal Antwerp team to face Mechelen.

The sides face each other in their fifth game of the season in the Jupiler Pro League.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper has played in all four of Antwerp’s domestic games so far.

However, he now sits out as a move to the Red Devils edges closer.

talkSPORT first reported Manchester United’s interest in Lammens in July, and talks have since intensified.

It’s believed the shot-stopper will cost around £17million, while personal terms should not be an issue.

Chelsea's Carney Chukwuemeka is set to travel for a medical ahead of a permanent move to Borussia Dortmund, talkSPORT understands.

A permanent deal is being discussed between the two sides, with the final fee expected to reach in excess of £20million, including add-ons.

Chukwuemeka initially joined Dortmund on loan in February and registered 16 appearances for the German giants, scoring once.

He was also a part of the Dortmund squad at this summer’s Club World Cup after the Blues extended his loan to cover the knockout stage.

The deal’s advancement will be music to the ears of Dortmund sporting director Sebastien Kehl after he expressed his desire to keep Chukwuemeka at the club on a long-term basis in July.

“We will definitely have some more discussions in the next few days about his situation,” Kehl said.

“I think it was a good move from Carney to join us.

Now let’s see how we manage everything.

“It won’t be easy, but for sure we will try to keep him because he’s a very good player.

“This topic is something for the future, and right now I don’t know what will happen.”

That's two from two for Arsenal, with six goals scored across both fixtures.

Mikel Arteta's side were the better team from the opening whistle and rarely looked troubled by the visitors, who put in a rather limp display.

Two goals each for Viktor Gyokeres and Jurrien Timber plus a powerful strike from Bukayo Saka did the business for the home side at the Emirates Stadium.

However, it wasn't all good news for the Gunners as Saka and Martin Odegaard both went off with injuries.

Gunners supporters will have their fingers and toes crossed Saka and Odegaard coming off were just precautions and not something serious.

At just 15 years and 235 days old, Max Dowman has been handed his senior Arsenal debut.

It means Dowman is the Gunners' second-youngest Premier League debutant behind Ethan Nwaneri, who was 15 years and 181 days when he came on against Brentford in September 2022.

Dowman was injected into the contest in the 64th minute in place of Noni Madueke, who enjoyed a positive starting debut for the Gunners.

The teenager earned rapturous applause from the Emirates faithful as he came on, knowing they were about to witness yet another prodigious talent from the fabled Hale End academy take to the pitch.

He'll have 30 minutes to make his mark against Leeds, who have looked second best all afternoon.
