LIFT OFF AT ST JAMES PARK INSIDE TWO MINUTES!!
What a start from the Magpies, with Anthony Gordon blitzing the Blues' backline on his return to the starting XI.
Gordon's run down the left sees him charge into the box, but he's denied by a terrific recovery sliding challenge from Moises Caicedo.
However, Chelsea fail to clear the danger, and Romeo Lavia is caught in possession on the edge of his own box.
Newcastle work the ball to the right, and a low ball in from Jacob Murphy is turned home by an unmarked Tonali at the back post.

Bournemouth star Alex Scott played most of the first half against Aston Villa with a broken jaw, it has been revealed.
The 21-year-old went down seven minutes into the match following a collision with Tyrone Mings.
He was substituted at half-time, but scans have revealed that Scott has a displaced fracture and will undergo surgery.
A Bournemouth statement read: "He will miss the remainder of the season and have the full support of the club and its medical team throughout the recovery process."

Ollie Watkins has delivered a message to talkSPORT co-host Gabby Agbonlahor - telling the former striker to let him have his moment!
The 29-year-old scored the only goal of the game at Bournemouth to help fire Aston Villa to a 1-0 win.
In doing so, Watkins has overtaken Agbonlahor to become the club's all-time top scorer in the Premier League.
Watkins had been level with Agbonlahor on 74 goals heading into the clash at the Vitality Stadium.
Commenting on his achievement, the 29-year-old, who poked fun at Agbonlahor, said: "Gabby, it's been a long time you've held that record.
"But it's now time to pass it over to me, let me have my moment!
"But it's an unbelievable achievement and I'm really pleased."

Aston Villa have held on for a crucial three points!
Ollie Watkins' strike in first half stoppage-time has proved to be the difference at the Vitality Stadium.
Daniel Jebbison thought he had rescued a point for the hosts in the closing seconds, but he somehow headed over the bar from two yards out.
The result has seen Bournemouth drop down into tenth spot following Brentford and Brighton's victories earlier in the day.
While their European dreams have taken a huge hit, Villa have guaranteed themselves of at least a UEFA Conference League spot next term.
Now up to sixth in the table, they are only behind fifth-placed Chelsea, who occupy the final Champions League spot, on goal difference.

THAT IS A HUGE GOAL!
Antoine Semenyo loses the ball on the left, and Morgan Rogers curls a cross into the box.
Ollie Watkins beats his man to the ball, and gets a deft flick on the ball.
He manages to divert his effort beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga, and he is now the club's all-time top Premier League goalscorer.

Incredible save!
Marco Asensio sends a ball out to Lucas Digne.
The Frenchman has time and space to deliver a ball into the box, and curls a perfect cross to the far post.It is begging to be put away.
There is Boubacar Kamara to meet it, and he thinks he's surely scored, but Kepa Arrizabalaga sticks out his left leg and makes a stunning stop.

Finally, something has happened!
Just as it looked as if this half was drifting away, Aston Villa come to life.
Ollie Watkins does well in midfield and pokes a pass through for Marco Asensio.
The Spaniard gets an early shot off that strikes the post and rebounds to safety.

Some concern here for Alex Scott.
Tyrone Mings takes a heavy touch and raises his elbow to try and block off the Bournemouth man.
There is no swinging motion from the centre-back, so VAR checks and clears it, but Scott needs quite a bit of treatment.
However, after a lengthy stoppage, he is good to carry on.

Okay, attention now switches to the 5:30pm Premier League game.
In the context of the race for Europe, it is huge.
If Aston Villa win, they will move level on points with Newcastle United and Chelsea.
Meanwhile, a win for Bournemouth takes them one point clear of Brentford and Brighton in eighth.
In terms of team news, the Cherries make three changes.
Adam Smith, Antoine Semenyo and Alex Scott come in for Dango Ouattara, Justin Kluivert and Julian Araujo.
And for Villa, it's four changes.
Lucas Digne, Tyrone Mings, Amadou Onana and Jacob Ramsey come into the side.
Ian Maatsen, Pau Torres, Youri Tielemans and John McGinn come out of the side.

That brings an end to the four 3pm Premier League games, and it's been a bad day for Manchester City .
The Citizens couldn't beat already-relegated Southampton at St Mary's, with the Saints digging in for a 0-0 draw.
That result means they move off 11 points and can't be the worst team in Premier League history.
That opens the door for Chelsea and Newcastle United in the race for the Champions League, with those two playing tomorrow, knowing they can leap above Man City.
Meanwhile, Brentford and Brighton sealed huge wins as they look to get into the Europa Conference League.
Fulham, though, were beaten 3-1 by Everton all but ending their hopes of European football.

The Seagulls are awarded a penalty after Matheus Cunha loses the ball on the edge of the area.
Welbeck steps up and scores his tenth Premier League goal of the season.
This is the first time since his top-flight debut that he's managed double figures in a campaign.

Manchester City have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Champions League football because Erling Haaland starts.
The Norwegian superstar suffered what was thought to be a season-ending injury against Bournemouth in the FA Cup in March, but he's recovered.
Haaland leads the line for the Citizens as they take on Southampton, and he will be hoping to bag a few goals.
The striker hasn't played a Premier League game since Brighton in March.
He returned to the bench in the 1-0 win over Wolves but was an unused substitute.
However, he starts today.

The midfielder is one of many Spurs players who have struggled this season for form.
But over the two legs against Bodo/Glimt, he played the full games.
After the match, he was one of the players leading the celebrations and Postecoglou is a big fan.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Crystal Palace, he said: "He is a different cat, Yves.

Casemiro is keen to remain at Manchester United for the remainder of his contract, talkSPORT understands.
The Brazilian midfielder will snub the chance to leave Old Trafford this summer.
It comes after the 33-year-old established himself as a key man following Ruben Amorim's arrival as manager.
Casemiro's current United deal is set to expire at the end of next season.
However, the club do hold the option to extend his contract by a further year through to the summer of 2027.
Despite that, it is currently unclear if the Red Devils will offer Casemiro an extension beyond his existing terms.
Clubs in the USA and Saudi Arabia have previously been linked with moves for the former Real Madrid man.

Steven Gerrard is being considered for the vacant Rangers job, talkSPORT understands.
There is longstanding interest from both parties in a return to Ibrox for the former Gers boss.
Gerrard is very keen to return to the dugout after leaving Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq in January.
However, he is set to face competition from a host of other candidates for the role.
Russell Martin is keen on succeeding Philippe Clement in Glasgow this summer.
Meanwhile, Tottenham assistant manager Ryan Mason and ex-Luton boss Rob Edwards are also on Rangers' shortlist.
Edwards previously worked with incoming Gers sporting director Kevin Thelwell during their time together at Wolves.
Rangers last won the title during Gerrard's final full season at the helm.
The former England midfielder guided the club to first place without a single defeat back in 2021.

William Saliba has reportedly entered contract extension with Arsenal amid Real Madrid links.
The French centre-back has established himself as one of the world's best centre-backs since breaking into the Arsenal team in 2022.
He currently has two years left on his deal at the Emirates, leading to speculation he could soon depart north London.
But according to the Athletic, the 24-year-old is in negotiations to extend his stay.
It has been said that while no offer has been sent, Saliba is open to committing his long-term future to Arsenal.
However, he will be seeking a deal that reflects his importance in the side as one of their key leaders.
