There are now a matter of days before reigning champions Liverpool kick-off the new 2025/26 Premier League season.
The Reds host AFC Bournemouth at Anfield on Friday, August 15 (8pm).
The game could see a few competitive debuts for the club, if the weekend's Community Shield is counted as a friendly.
Arne Slot's side have been active in the window, bringing six new players to the club so far.
Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong were named in the starting XI for the clash at Wembley against Crystal Palace, with the former and the latter getting on the scoresheet.
They will hope to have a similar influence in Friday night's Premier League curtain raiser.

During build-up to the game, work is still going on behind-the-scenes on transfers.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with possible transfers for both Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak and Palace defender Marc Guehi.

Rule U.23 of the Premier League handbook states that: "...the registration of a player shall be 12 noon on the last working day before the date of the first match in which the club making the application intends him to play..."
It therefore means that, with the game being played on Friday night, both Liverpool and Bournemouth have until 12pm on Thursday, August 14 to register any new players if they wish for them to play in their season opener.
But it's different for the teams playing on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Due to Friday being a working day, every other Premier League club who wish to play any new signings that they make this week have an extra 24 hours to complete deals - with their deadline being at 12pm on Friday, August 15.
If the deadline is missed by any clubs, then the new player will be forced to wait until matchday two to be able to make their debut.
