As was the case last year, the new campaign will officially get up and running on the weekend of August 16/17.
Separate to last year, however, the Premier League has returned to a Saturday start after back-to-back seasons hosting the first game of the season on Friday nights.
This also remains in line with the Premier League's return to a later start date after several years of slightly earlier restarts.
