Arsenal remain locked in negotiations with Sporting Clube de Portugal over a deal for Viktor Gyokeres.

It has been widely reported that the Liga Portugal club rejected an approach from the Gunners worth €65m plus €15m.

However, the clubs are claimed to be in constructive dialogue and close to bringing the saga to an end.

The Sweden international has also been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

The Gunners completed the signing of Martin Zubimendi over the weekend, and are also closing in on securing the services of Christian Norgaard from Brentford.

And it was confirmed over the weekend that Burnley have signed Kyle Walker from City for a fee of up to £5m.

The right-back, who spent the second-half of last season on loan at AC Milan, completed his medical towards the end of last week and has signed a two-year contract with the Clarets.

"I'm delighted to be here," the England international told Burnley's website.

He's done an amazing job here, guiding the club back to the Premier League."

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has told any player unhappy at the club they can leave.

Estevao Willian, Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Dario Essugo and Mamadou Sarr and Jamie Gittens have already moved to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The likes of Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix, Axel Disasi and Ben Chilwell, who are not with the squad at the Club World Cup, are among those who could move on.

And Maresca said: “My message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us.

The ones that are not happy, they are free to go.”
