Liverpool-linked Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim is currently leading the club to their second Liga Portugal title under him.

Amorim is the firm favourite to succeed Klopp at Anfield and usher in a new era at the Merseyside club.

Matic told Portugal outlet O Jogo that Amorim is a great replacement for Klopp, having the right personality and character.

I see Ruben Amorim at a great club, I don’t know if it will be Liverpool, but if it happens I’m sure he’ll be a great replacement for Klopp because Ruben understands football and has the personality and character to be a great coach, he already is at the moment.
