Preston North End have released a statement on their plans to honour Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva.
The Championship club has shown their class with how they have responded to the situation.
In a statement, Preston have confirmed that the build-up begins at 2:45 pm, when fans are asked to take their seats.
Five minutes later, at approximately 2:50 pm, former PNE player Sean Maguire’s wife, Claudia Rose Maguire, will perform a moving rendition of Can’t Help Falling in Love, followed immediately by Liverpool’s anthem You’ll Never Walk Alone.
As the anthem plays, captain Ben Whiteman will lay a wreath in front of the travelling Liverpool supporters.
A minute’s silence will then be observed just before kick-off, accompanied by digital tributes displayed on the big screen and across stadium LEDs.
To complete the tribute, both teams’ players will don black armbands throughout the match.
In addition, Preston will offer every ticket-holding supporter a free 16-page matchday programme, entirely dedicated to Diogo and André.
Multiple club staff will distribute copies around the turnstiles, ensuring attendees can take home a keepsake that celebrates the brothers’ lives and careers
Liverpool’s return to action will be broadcast worldwide across several platforms.
All Red Video, the club’s official streaming service, will show live coverage from 2:15 PM BST, with kick-off at 3:00 PM.
New subscribers can enjoy their first month free, and the service costs £4.99 per month with the option to cancel anytime.
UK fans can also watch for free on ITV1, with additional coverage on STV, ITVX, and STV Player?
