Alexander Isak and Liverpool have been the main topic of conversation throughout the summer transfer window.

At the moment, Liverpool only have four senior attacking options among their ranks and, while Rio Ngumoha may have pulled off some heroics against Newcastle last week, he can’t be regularly relied upon.

This makes it clear that the Anfield outfit must sign a new attacker before the window slams shut, and, since Isak is the only player on Arne Slot’s mind, it surely has to be him.

It’s clear that both Liverpool and Isak want him to join the Anfield outfit this summer.

And, while speaking to Sky Sports Germany, former Liverpool player Dietmar Hamann believes that the 25-year-old will be a Liverpool player before the Premier League season gets fully underway.

The prices are very inflated, which is certainly also related to the fact that Liverpool want Alexander Isak – and will probably get him.

“The German clubs would be well advised not to participate in this madness, because this transfer fee is completely unfounded.”

Not only would Isak provide Liverpool with some extra attacking talent, but he would also improve their chances of winning the Premier League and Champions League tenfold.

One of the main things that Liverpool were missing last season was that extra bit of fight needed to get a goal or two when it mattered most.

However, seeing as though Isak scored 27 goals across all competitions last term, it’s clear that he’d bring that extra bit of firepower needed to make the difference.
