RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche has conceded that there is uncertainty surrounding how the transfer market will function in the aftermath of the coronavirus crisis.

The German, who replaced Ralf Rangnick last summer, is tasked with keeping talisman Timo Werner this summer, amid strong interest from Liverpool.

Liverpool star spotted training alone in Sefton Park amid coronavirus suspension.

Werner himself has put on record that the proposition of working under Klopp at Liverpool excites him but they are not the only club interested in his services.

"Yes I know that Liverpool is the best team in the moment in the world and when you're linked with the team, it makes me very proud," Werner said after scoring the winner in the Champions League last 16 first leg against Tottenham.

Liverpool are concerned that Werner won't accept a place on the bench but the striker seems to have eased fears with those comments.
