Liverpool youngster Jarell Quansah has reportedly convinced senior players at Liverpool of his quality after making just three senior appearances for the club.
The 20-year-old made his senior debut for Liverpool when he came on as a substitute against Newcastle in August.
The Athletic’s James Pearce, speaking to the Anfield Index, has said that Quansah has won over senior figures at Kirkby with his performances in training.
Pearce, likining Quansah’s profile to a young Wayne Rooney said, “He does remind me a little bit of a young Wayne Rooney in terms of his physicality and his fearlessness.
They love him around the first team squad; the senior players have really taken to him.”
It is a great sign for the player’s future at the club that senior players and Klopp are convinced that he can make a serious contribution to the team at such a young age in such a difficult position.
