Rangers fans have aimed at message at the Ibrox board ahead of the clash with at Fir Park. Before the game in Lanarkshire fans held up flyers with the face of managing director Stewart Robertson and sporting director crossed out were placed on seats and the message 'time for change'. A banner that read 'time for change' was displayed in the away end before kick-off.
During the victory over Kilmarnock a banner was displayed by the group that claimed the board had taken their eye off the ball since the title win back in 2020/21. As the protests started Boyd admitted the fans were looking for "accountability" with the Scottish Cup the club's main shot at silverware this term. He told Sky Sports: "When Rangers won the league, you felt as if there was an opporuntity to kick on.
"I think when it gets to this stage of the season fans are slightly frustrated and they are having a go at the board.
