Rangers have landed almost £14million after two player exits have been agreed at Ibrox.

There has been plenty of transfer activity at Rangers this summer as Russell Martin looks to overhaul the squad following his appointment in June.

Martin has let 12 players leave over the past couple of months as he aims to help the Scottish giants challenge for honours again following their trophyless campaign last season.

Jefte has so far been Rangers’ biggest sale of the summer window, with his move to Palmeiras landing the club a significant profit.

Football Insider revealed on 12 August Rangers were expecting to receive several offers for Igamane before the transfer window closes on 1 September.

However, Rangers Review reported on 26 August the club have now accepted a £10.5million offer from Lille for Igamane.

It comes just days after Martin revealed the 22-year-old striker refused to come off the bench in the 1-1 draw against St Mirren on 24 August, claiming he was injured.

Rangers signed Igamane in a deal worth around £2.5million from AS FAR last summer, ensuring they have made another healthy profit as he closes in on a move to France.

The sales of Igamane and Jefte have landed the club a £13.8million profit on those deals, handing Martin the opportunity to strengthen further before the window closes.

Martin is already under pressure at Ibrox after failing to win any of his opening three Scottish Premiership games in charge.

Meanwhile, Rangers are facing an exit from the Champions League after losing 3-1 to Club Brugge in their play-off round first leg, with the second leg taking place in Belgium on Wednesday (27 August).

Alongside the summer exits, 11 new faces have arrived through the door at Ibrox.
