Rangers will look to open talks with Jose Mourinho after a sack update has emerged at Ibrox.
Mourinho admitted he would be open to managing Rangers when his Fenerbahce side faced the Scottish club in the Europa League earlier this year.
It was confirmed on Friday (29 August) Mourinho has now left his role as the Fenerbahce manager after spending just over a year in Istanbul.

It isn’t out of the question the Rangers job could soon become available following a disappointing start for Russell Martin at Ibrox.
Martin is now set for his first taste of the Old Firm derby, with Rangers hosting Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday (31 August).
However, Football Insider revealed on 26 August Rangers are unlikely to sack Martin immediately, even if they lose to Celtic on Sunday.

While the new Rangers owners will be keen to give Martin time to turn things around, the pressure from the fans will continue to build if he doesn’t deliver results quickly.
