Bournemouth are on the verge of completing the huge sale of defender Illia Zabarnyi to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Ukrainian defender only joined the Cherries from Dynamo Kyiv in 2023 for £24million, but is now preparing to make a £57.1m (BBC) switch to the European champions.
That represents an incredible profit for Bournemouth, but Zabarnyi still won’t be the club’s record sale.
With that in mind, here are the top five biggest sales in the club’s history.
Nathan Ake required foot surgery last season
There’s an immediate jump in price here, with Nathan Ake costing Manchester City £40m (BBC) back in the summer of 2020 — doubling Bournemouth’s money from when they acquired him from Chelsea in the process.
The Netherlands international has been a reliable figure for Pep Guardiola, rotating between centre-back and left-back whenever required, and helping City win a host of domestic honours, alongside that coveted Champions League title two years ago.

Milos Kerkez has been a great addition to the Premier League since moving from AZ in 2023 and just last season, he registered six assists in 38 top-flight outings.

That was enough to catch the attention of Liverpool, who spent £40m (BBC) this summer to bring the Hungary international in as the successor to Andy Robertson.
Kerkez has all the tools to be a world-class full-back and should only continue to grow with the Premier League champions.
Joining what has been an incredible summer exodus from the Vitality Stadium, Dean Huijsen completed an incredible move from Bournemouth to Real Madrid this summer — not the most trodden path.
Los Blancos spent £50m (Guardian) on the 20-year-old centre-back, who now represents Spain after being capped extensively by the Netherlands at youth level.
There’s a lot of pressure on Huijsen at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he showed a cool head in the Premier League and will be helped by vastly experienced veterans like David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger and Dani Carvajal in Xabi Alonso’s backline.

This transfer still hasn’t been announced, but it’s as good as done.
Zabarnyi is about to become the second biggest departure in Bournemouth history, while his sale will mean the club have earned almost £150m on defenders alone this summer.
That’s an incredible achievement for a club of this size, but Andoni Iraola will be insisting he gets a big chunk of that back to reinvest.
This bumper summer income for Bournemouth comes just a year after their biggest-ever sale, when Tottenham paid £65m (Sky Sports) for Dominic Solanke.
The former Liverpool man moved to North London fresh off a season in which he scored 21 goals across all competitions for Bournemouth, including 19 in 38 Premier League outings.
Solanke hasn’t recreated that form for Spurs so far, only managing nine in the Premier League so far.
However, the England international has 16 goals across all competitions, including five in the Europa League to help the Lilywhites go all the way and finally end their long trophy drought.
