Man United players including the axed Rasmus Hojlund were quick to react to Benjamin Sesko’s message to supporters after making his Premier League debut.
Man United kicked off the new season with a disappointing defeat as Riccardo Calafiori’s early goal sealed a 1-0 win for Arsenal at Old Trafford on 17 August.
Despite the result, there were glimpses of promise for Ruben Amorim’s side, as new signings Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha impressed Man United fans and showed flashes of quality in a refreshed attack.
Sesko was named on the bench but came on in the 65th minute, registering two efforts on goal during his short cameo.
While his United career began with a loss, the Slovenian striker struck an upbeat tone afterwards, sharing a passionate message with supporters following the final whistle.

The striker’s words drew reaction from his new teammates, with Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire liking the post to show their support.
Hojlund, who was omitted from the United squad for the Arsenal clash to throw new doubt on his future at the club, also ‘liked’ the post.
He arrived at Old Trafford as one of the most sought-after young forwards of the summer, with Arsenal and Newcastle both registering strong interest earlier in the window.
The Magpies even tabled a club-record bid, but Football Insider revealed that Sesko favoured a move to Man United, who sealed his signing for £73million.
The deal was not without its controversy, with former financial advisor Stefan Borson claiming Sir Jim Ratcliffe had “massively overplayed” Man United’s financial difficulties despite splashing out on the Slovenia international.

While Hojlund was among those to support Sesko publicly, his own position at United looks increasingly uncertain.
The Dane was left out of Amorim’s matchday squad against Arsenal, sparking questions over his role moving forward.
Fulham are believed to hold an interest in Hojlund, with reports suggesting they could turn to him if Rodrigo Muniz leaves before the window closes.
Despite this, the striker has shown a willingness to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford.
With United also actively exploring exits for Antony and Jadon Sancho, Hojlund now appears to be the next name facing the prospect of being moved on.
