Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo in the summer transfer window, with the attack undergoing somewhat of a restructuring.
It’s not the first time that the Reds have been linked with an interest, with the player choosing to join Real Madrid over a move to Anfield as a teenager.
The now 24-year-old would have been hoping to impress new Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso this summer, during both the Club World Cup and preparations for the new season.
According to Marca, Saudi teams have been showing an interest in the Brazilian, but any approaches have been knocked back by Real Madrid.
Liverpool are not the only English club to be linked with an interest in Rodrygo this summer with Arsenal and Tottenham also credited with an interest.
Reports suggest that while Real are open to letting the player leave this summer, they will demand a fee of around €90 million (£77.9m).
The Reds have already spent big on their attack so far this summer.
The club have completed the signings of Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike from Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively, while also being heavily linked with Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.
