Real Madrid are not done yet in this summer’s transfer market.
Having already wrapped up the transfers of Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth and Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, they are now keen to find a player worthy enough of filling the hole in the team that Toni Kroos left behind.
With the hierarchies unimpressed with the players brought in last summer, they will now dive once again into the market to find a suitable Kroos replacement.
Liverpool and Real Madrid are often linked with the same players as two of the biggest clubs in world football tend to attract the bigger stars and there is another case of that happening here.
Angelo Stiller has emerged as a target for a number of clubs this summer, after his impressive performances for Vfb Stuttgart have ignited talks of a potential move away from the Bundesliga side.
Tentatively linked to Liverpool in recent months, Spanish publication Diario AS have now revealed that Real Madrid also want Angelo Stiller.
As previously mentioned, they are eyeing a Toni Kroos replacement, and optimism is building that Stiller could be the answer to that problem.
Represented by the same agency that handled Toni Kroos, Kroos’ potential involvement in negotiations could prove vital in Real Madrid getting a deal done.
Whilst Los Blancos are yet to make a move for the Stuttgart midfielder, he remains firmly in their minds as a potential summer addition.
Another player heavily linked to Liverpool last summer, now on the verge of joining Arsenal is Martin Zubimendi.
Whilst it was revealed by Fabrizio Romano that Arsenal had a full agreement with the player, it has now been three weeks and no development has followed or any official announcement from the club.
That is why Real Madrid are ready to pounce should an opportunity arise.
With the player yet to formally complete the transfer, Madrid believe that Zubimendi should continue to assess his options but the club have also not made an offer or expressed any interest in the Real Sociedad midfielder yet.
Real Madrid remain keen on the midfield duo, and could move to get a deal done should they feel they are the right fit.
