Real Madrid's players have reportedly been hugely impressed with what they've seen so far from Trent Alexander-Arnold in training.

It is claimed that Madrid's coaching staff have been keen to stress the need for Alexander-Arnold to show intensity in his game, while there is confidence that his defensive play — for which he faced criticism during his time at Liverpool — will improve.

The quality of Alexander-Arnold on the ball is said to have blown staff and teammates away, and he is expected to be one of the team's main set-piece takers his season.
