Liverpool’s transfer plans are slowly beginning to come into focus as the summer window draws ever closer.
The Reds still have two games left to play this season before Richard Hughes embarks on what is expected to be a busy period.
Despite winning the Premier League at a canter, there are various areas of improvement needed within the Liverpool squad.
One key area to be addressed is at left-back, where Andy Robertson’s considerable powers have started to wane.
Robertson was good against Arsenal on Sunday, but it remains probable that Liverpool enter the market for a new option.
Recently, Milos Kerkez has been named as a concrete option to the point where a move has started to feel inevitable.
But according to journalist David Lynch, Wolves left-back Rayan Ait Nouri should not yet be ruled out.

If Liverpool make just two signings this summer, then left-back and centre-forward would be the expected additions.
It has been clear for a while that this is where the biggest gains are to be had.
Kerkez is clearly an attractive option after an excellent season with Bournemouth, but speaking to Anfield Index, Lynch says Liverpool signing Ait Nouri cannot be totally discounted.

“I still feel like left-back’s up for debate,” he said.
I’ve always felt Ait Nouri is still in the mix, I don’t think it’s been ruled out just yet.
“The fact he’s changing agency amid talks that Wolves want to tie him down to a new contract sort of rings alarm bells for me in terms of there’s a real possibility that they accept they’ll have to do a deal for him if he doesn’t sign.”

“They’ve also put out what the fee would be to get him, so he remains a really interesting option.
“Kerkez is definitely on the list and he’s up there but he’s not absolutely nailed on in the way that’s been suggested.”
As Lynch alludes to, news emerged on Monday that Ait Nouri has changed agency ahead of the summer window.
Reporting on X earlier in the day, journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the 23-year-old is ‘one to watch’ during the transfer market.
“Wolves LB Rayan Ait Nouri has signed with CAA Stellar as new representatives,” says Romano.
“Algerian LB, one to watch in the summer as he can leave with several clubs keen on signing him after 5 goals, 7 assists this season.”
Last year there were suggestions that Wolves could sell Ait Nouri for around £38m.
