There could be a big turnover about to happen at Liverpool this summer and some big names could say their goodbyes.
The Reds may have gone all-out and spent big during the transfer window, but this never comes without sacrifice.
Arne Slot is known for his ruthlessness and if he is not fully satisfied with a player, expect them to exit swiftly through the Anfield door.
Darwin Nunez is one of these players on the chopping block as he has fallen out of favour under the Dutchman, with it looking like Slot no longer trusts him for the biggest occasions.
It is no surprise either as he has simply not been clinical enough, with this piece of business going down as a failure after signing him for a club-record fee of £85m.
Liverpool have been given a rough estimate of how much they could sell him for, however, and it may not be as bad as people may think.

After spending so much on Nunez, fans would have hoped that he would hit around 20 goals a season, a figure that did not seem unrealistic based on his form for Benfica.
However, the Uruguayan has been way off that and his best goalscoring tally in the Premier League is 11, although this dropped to just five last season.

Recouping most of that transfer fee seems nearly impossible, but journalist Lewis Steele believes that they might get closer to the original fee than they probably should.
“A lot of clubs are keen on Darwin Nunez and maybe Liverpool get a good fee for him,” Steele said on his YouTube channel.
“About £65-£70m.
I don’t think they will get that realistically, but it’s worth trying.

“£50m for Darwin wouldn’t be the end of the world but obviously it would represent a failed bit of business if they sold him for that much.”
In all honesty, Liverpool fans would probably snap their hand off if a club were still willing to pay £50m for Nunez’s services, suggesting the Reds could cut their losses but move on happily.
If you look purely at statistics, many would really wonder why so many big teams want Nunez, but on the eye, it is perhaps a little bit clearer.
The 25-year-old’s attacking positioning is second to none and this has never been his problem, actually converting the chances has been his real issue.

However, as has been shown at times during his Anfield career, Nunez is very much a ‘confidence player’ and when he backs himself, he is clinical.
The best piece of evidence of this was when Liverpool played Benfica in the Champions League prior to his arrival, with his confidence and clinical finishing going hand-in-hand.
Napoli and AC Milan want Nunez and it is no surprise to see these two in for him, especially as the Serie A would suit his playing style down to a tee; all they need to do is bring his confidence back up.
