Rio Ngumoha has been one of the most talked-about footballers at Liverpool over the last season or so.
The attacker is only 16 years old, but he’s already been given his first-team debut, and, with some of the clips that have surfaced from the Reds’ training sessions, it’s clear that he’s playing beyond his years.
There is no doubt that there are plenty of clubs vying for a loan move for the youngster, but with the way things seem to be heading at Anfield, the youngster could be used in Liverpool’s first-team squad.

Last season, the attacker was given the odd chance to impress and to be honest, it feels like he could be a decent back-up for Mohamed Salah, that is, if Federico Chiesa ends up leaving, of course.
Although Ngumoha started his career with Chelsea, the Reds swooped in and prised him away from Stamford Bridge and added the attacker to their own academy.
Last term, the attacker played once for the Reds’ first-team in an FA Cup match against Accrington Stanley, which proves how much faith the Dutchman has in Ngumoha.
For Liverpool’s academy last season, the former Chelsea man played 25 times and contributed to six goals across all competitions, proving that he has what it takes.
This summer, Liverpool have spent close to £300million on improving their ranks, and if several players such as Chiesa and Luis Diaz do end up leaving L4, it’s hard to see how they’d source enough money to bring replacements in.
Of course, only time will tell what the future has in store, but if things go the way that Liverpool want them to, Ngumoha could be their sixth or seventh choice attacker next term.
