The new season is fast approaching and Liverpool are still working hard to get deals over the line.
The Reds’ season starts about a week before the majority of everyone else’s in the league, with Arne Slot’s side taking on Crystal Palace in the Community Shield on Sunday.
Then, just five days later, they will begin their title defence, although their squad could look a little different by the time that fixture rolls around.
They still want a few incomings but they are also keen to offload some players to get them off the books, with plenty of activity happening, and still to come, at Anfield.
Here is what was reported on Wednesday.

Another day, another Alexander Isak update, and this one might be a rather positive sign for Liverpool as they wait patiently.
Manager Eddie Howe has banished the Swede from first-team training and forced him to train alone, giving him a separate schedule to the rest of the players.
Liverpool’s stance remains the same, however, and they will not bid unless Newcastle give them the green light.
Isak is still desperate to make the move and may regret it if he doesn’t force it through, with Reds legend Mark Lawrenson believing Liverpool will retain the title if he signs.

Liverpool have brought well this summer but they have equally sold well too, with Tyler Morton the latest to depart.

Despite showing promise at the Under 21 European Championships, the Englishman was deemed surplus to requirements, with the reason he was allowed to leave for Lyon now clear.
Liverpool saw similarities between Morton and Stefan Bajcetic, meaning that they were happy to let him go as they had an adequate replacement.
This would suggest that the Spaniard might have a small role to play next season, something fans will be quietly pleased with.
For once, Liverpool have been rather quiet on the transfer front, with their attention now clearly just on a few areas.
However, plenty more has been reported on RTK on Wednesday, with Ibrahima Konate posting a cryptic message about his future at the club and Paul Scholes believing the Reds have a real ‘issue’ next season.
Liverpool may also have a big problem against Crystal Palace if they are not careful, while a player’s ex coach may have just revealed that a current star could depart Anfield in the near future.
