One player who has been linked with a Liverpool move for the past couple of years is Anthony Gordon.

The rumours haven’t been as rife in the 2025-26 summer transfer window, but that hasn’t stopped some outlets from reporting Liverpool’s interest.

However, while speaking on the Ranks FC Podcast, journalist Dean Jones admitted that he’d be “very surprised” if Liverpool went for Gordon this summer, especially after the arrival of Florian Wirtz.
