Liverpool’s attack appears to be the point of interest this summer, with big incomings and outgoings still yet to come.

The Reds are not far away from the headlines this summer and it looks as though they want to keep it that way after a busy day of transfer action.

Milos Kerkez is expected to become a Liverpool player tonight and after that is done, Richard Hughes is set to pounce on some more targets.

Arne Slot has a star-studded team at his disposal but his first-team squad could look very different by the time their pre-season tour of Asia comes around.

An attacking overhaul looks more and more likely by the minute at Anfield and if Darwin Nunez or Luis Diaz depart, the Reds have got a new top target to replace them.

Olympique Lyon ace Malick Fofana is a top priority for Liverpool this summer according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, although they face stiff competition from Chelsea.

The Reds’ recruitment manager Barry Hunter is said to be a huge admirer of the Belgian and has placed him at the top of his wishlist.

Tavolieri reported that the player would cost around €50million (£42million), suggesting a deal with Liverpool could very well be on the cards, with Slot wanting him as a back-up left winger.

The Italian has found himself among the headlines a lot recently and today has seen him being mentioned a few times yet again.

Firstly, Serie A club Atalanta have made Chiesa their ‘priority’ signing, seeing him as a replacement for the outgoing Ademola Lookman.

AS Roma have also joined the race for him, showing just how much interest he has, but Napoli have agreed a deal for Noa Lang from PSV, suggesting they no longer want him.

This could affect Liverpool’s potential swap deal for striker Victor Osimhen, although Nunez could still be included as part of it.

A lot has been said about the Englishman joining Liverpool over the past few days, and it is no surprise as Guehi has the traits needed to be successful at Anfield.

Former striker Darren Bent has urged Guehi to join the Premier League champions too, although a move is dependent on the competition for his signature according to journalist James Pearce.

Guehi would want to be guaranteed first choice alongside Virgil van Dijk, however, meaning Konate’s future is even more uncertain.

In other news, Jarell Quansah’s Bayer Leverkusen buy-back has been revealed and Jeremie Frimpong has named the four best Liverpool players of all time.
