Liverpool have begun their pre-season and transfer rumours may start to gain significant traction.
The Reds came flying out of the blocks towards the start of the summer but rumours have been quiet as of late due to the club trying to come to terms with the tragic passing of Diogo Jota.
Liverpool have had their first game since, however, with everyone associated with the club having to unite and get on with the job at hand, no matter how hard that may be.
Arne Slot will be using these pre-season games to experiment with his squad and work out how many more additions are needed, as well as which players perhaps need to move on.
With that being said, here is a round-up of what’s been reported on Monday.

One area that certainly needs reinforcements this summer is in the forward line, with a striker the number one priority.
The likes of Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike have been linked constantly, but a surprising name that has emerged is that of Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Liverpool have reportedly held a meeting in Paris over signing Mateta, with both the player and his agent being present.
The Frenchman has just two years left on his deal at Selhurst Park, meaning he could come slightly cheaper than his market value, with Palace also said to be tempted to sell.

Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Everton have all made enquiries this summer as well, while PSV Eindhoven and Spanish clubs are also interested.
The Reds could very well see a bidding war break out for the Scotsman, something that will play into their hands as they hold out for around £25m.

Harvey Elliott is just one Liverpool player who has been heavily linked with a move away this summer, and West Ham are said to be ‘optimistic’ that they will be able to seal a deal by the end of the transfer window.
Elliott would cost between £40m-£50m if he is to depart Anfield this summer, although the Hammers can now afford this after selling Mohamed Kudus to Tottenham Hotspur.
As well as this, West Ham are keen on Tyler Morton, with the Englishman ‘very likely’ to leave this summer on a permanent transfer.
In other news, Bayern Munich are looking at Luis Diaz alternatives, while Kostas Tsimikas has hinted that he might be staying this summer.
