Liverpool are looking to get deals over the line before the fast-approaching season begins.
The Reds are under two weeks away from beginning their defence of the Premier League title, with their opening game on Friday 15th August.
Before then, they are still keen to make some changes to their squad, both in terms of incomings and outgoings.
Big money can be made if they get the players they want off the books, but equally big money can be spent, and it might need to happen as well given some of the holes still left to fill.
Big things are in the works at Anfield and here is what happened on Tuesday.

As shown throughout pre-season, Liverpool look absolutely terrifying in attack, but their defence has looked a little leaky and in need of reinforcements.
With just three first-team centre-backs at the club, the Reds have started to look elsewhere, with Brentford’s Nathan Collins a player they are keeping a close eye on.
The 24-year-old was a mainstay in their side last season and played every minute of their Premier League campaign, showing how availability can be the best ability.
Marc Guehi remains an option, but his asking price is proving too steep, although the self awareness from Liverpool that they need a new centre-half is a good sign.

Journalist David Lynch exclusively revealed that Doak is ‘attracting major interest’, with West Ham and Wolves joining the likes of Everton, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace as those keen on his signature.

The Scotsman impressed during pre-season and showed his capabilities, but with so many options ahead of him in the pecking order, a move seems the best decision.
It would be a shame as he was once labelled as “special” by former manager Jurgen Klopp, although injuries have severely disrupted his progress.
Firstly, Newcastle’s stance has softened slightly and they are willing to sell, although they want Benjamin Sesko before negotiating.
