Chelsea captain Reece James was among those to respond on social media after an update from teammate Joao Pedro.
The Brazilian forward has made a lively start to life at Stamford Bridge, as Pedro lifted the Club World Cup in the summer before scoring his first Premier League goal for the Blues against West Ham.
Pedro’s debut was hailed as “perfect” by Football Insider after he struck twice, starting ahead of Nicolas Jackson and making the most of his chance in Enzo Maresca’s side.
Despite Chelsea also bringing in Liam Delap, the Brazil international has been the preferred option so far this season, starting both league matches this season and looking sharp in attack.

With Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers beginning on 5 September, Pedro has been handed a place in the national squad.
The striker celebrated the news with a post of himself wearing the famous yellow shirt, captioning it simply with the Brazil flag.

His post quickly drew plenty of reaction, with Chelsea captain James and Pedro Neto both liking the update, while fellow Brazilian Andrey Santos added: “Congratulations my friend.”

The forward joined Chelsea from Brighton in a £60 million deal earlier this summer and was registered just in time to feature in the Club World Cup knockout stages, where he made an immediate impact.
Pedro had turned down an offer from Newcastle, instead waiting for Chelsea’s approach — a decision that has already paid off.
He arrives at Stamford Bridge off the back of an impressive season at Brighton, where he scored 10 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions.

Maresca’s side have already been active in the transfer market, but strengthening midfield remains a priority before the window closes.
Reports suggest Chelsea are closely monitoring Kobbie Mainoo’s situation at Manchester United, with belief growing that a £45 million bid could be enough to secure his signing — significantly lower than the £70m valuation previously set.
