The Celtic board have only infuriated fans further as tensions continue to build at the Scottish champions.
Celtic supporter groups wrote to the club’s board demanding answers, transparency and accountability for their “failure to back the manager.”
Supporters groups were issued a response in a club statement which has been slammed for not answering any of the questions posed to the board.
There are fears Brendan Rodgers could leave Celtic for a second time with Nottingham Forest a possible destination, whilst Daizen Maeda revealed after the transfer window closed that he was stopped from leaving the club over the summer.

Posting on X [7 September], Tom English reacted to the statement released by Celtic, which defended their transfer window and policy to protect the club’s future.
The club say they take views from supporters “extremely seriously,” but English can see why Celtic fans are angry.

“This appears to have enraged Celtic fans – and it’s easy to see why,” English commented.
“A remarkable own goal.
“Some might say that the greatest danger to Celtic at the moment is Celtic.”

A season which was supposed to see further progress on the pitch at Celtic is turning out to be a nightmare for supporters.
Celtic supporters could boycott Europa League fixtures and protest at matches, whilst Maeda looks set for an exit at the next opportunity and Rodgers could walk after not being backed in the transfer market.
Fans want action from the Celtic board to address the issues in the transfer window, with more urgency to sign players as soon as possible.
