Lorenzo Insigne will speak with Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis next Tuesday to discuss his future, per Sky Italia, amid interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Insigne is out of contract at the Serie A side next summer and is yet to agree to terms on an extension. De Laurentiis and the Italian’s agent, Vincenzo Pisacane, are also yet to hold a formal meeting to discuss a renewal.

De Laurentiis and Pisacane did meet this week at Napoli’s headquarters to discuss deals for two of his other clients. The Azzurri are working to extend Nikita Contini and Amato Ciciretti’s spells at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona this summer.

Insigne is De Laurentiis’ next goal and will speak with the Napoli forward and Pisacane next Tuesday. The forward will join the Azzurri for the second phase of their pre-season in Castel di Sangro on August 3. They gave him an extended summer break after winning Euro 2020.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham chiefs will all likely be paying close attention to Insigne’s talks with Napoli. RAI journalist Paolo Paganini has claimed Spurs made an offer for the 30-year-old, while Il Mattino add Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the situation.

Liverpool are also very keen, with Fabio Santini noting Jurgen Klopp holds a strong interest in the diminutive attacker. Insigne will now hold showdown talks with De Laurentiis as his Napoli future will only be resolved in face-to-face talks.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool chiefs will all be keeping close tabs on Insigne’s crunch talks with Napoli. The Italian failing to agree on terms with De Laurentiis will swing the exit door wide open for a deal. And the 47-cap dynamo would be an exciting addition for either.

Insigne offered 19 goals and seven assists in the Serie A last season and shone at Euro 2020 this summer. Sky Italia also note supporters voted his goal in Italy’s quarter-final win over Belgium as the second-best of the tournament.

Although Napoli would demand Arsenal, Tottenham or Liverpool pay €30m (£25.5m) for 2022 free agent Insigne, per Corriere dello Sport. With at least €25m (£21.5m) of that paid as an upfront fee, despite his contract situation.
