Report: £34m Liverpool player could now leave this summer with European giants very keen again

Liverpool have made a number of good signings in the last few years but one of their most recent captures could be on his way out already.

The Reds are planning for a big summer of change and with the return of Michael Edwards and Jurgen Klopp leaving, it’s a huge period for the Reds.

For FSG, getting the right replacement for Klopp is their number one priority.

Once that is sorted, it will come down to recruitment again and whoever the new manager is will no doubt want to bring in their own new faces.

However, new signings and a new manager also means players are likely to leave as well.

And according to a report from Fotomac, it looks like one of Klopp’s last ever signings as Liverpool manager is a wanted man across Europe.

According to the report from Fotomac, Gravenberch is once again on the radar of the Turkish side.

Galatasaray wanted to sign the Dutch midfielder in the summer but missed out in the end as Liverpool won the race to sign him.

However, Gravenberch has had a bit of a stop-start period in Liverpool so far.

Due to injuries and a lack of form when selected, Jurgen Klopp has only started the Dutchman ten times in the league.

Going into the summer, then, it seems like Gravenberch might be someone who Liverpool look to cash in on.

After paying £34m for Gravenberch less than a year ago, a sale to Galatasaray would be an admission from the Reds that they perhaps got it wrong.

With the return of Michael Edwards and murmurings around the CEO not being overly happy with some more recent signings, we could see change this summer.

For Gravenberch, who has struggled to tie down a place in the XI, a summer move could well be on the cards.

For Liverpool, it’s a tricky one really.

They paid a good sum for the former Ajax star and given he is just 21, there is obvious time on his side in terms of being able to develop.

Quite whether Edwards or Liverpool’s new manager have patience with Gravenberch, remains to be seen.
