However, as per a report from Spanish outlet Defensa Central, despite Atletico Madrid making a €40million (£34million) bid for him, Konate has insisted that he ‘is not interested.’

The centre-back seemingly only has eyes for Real Madrid or Liverpool, and if one doesn’t make a strong enough offer, it’ll be the other who acquires his services.
