Liverpool have made some huge signings this summer but there could be some cheaper ones who make just as big of an impact.
The Reds have spent almost £200m this summer and are not finished yet, with a few more incomings, as well as outgoings, still expected.
Arne Slot looks to be building a super team to last and the expectations for Liverpool will be higher than ever before, although if anyone can do it, it is them.
The Dutchman has certainly earned his plaudits since taking over from Jurgen Klopp, although the job he has done is still largely underrated.
Among the players he has coached, though, they all know just how good he is at his job, with one who labelled him the ‘best coach in the world’ keen to sign for the Reds this summer.

The Reds still want a few more signings but a midfielder has not really been a position mentioned much this summer, mainly due to their existing competition in this area of the pitch.
However, Benfica midfielder Orkun Kokcu has made himself available to the Reds and is keen on the move according to GIVEMESPORT, although he would want to know how serious the Merseyside club are before deciding his next destination.

The Portuguese side are willing to let him go for around £35m, making him a relatively cheap option, with the Reds keeping a close eye on him for a little while now.
The report states that Liverpool regularly sent scouts to watch the Turkish midfielder play in the second half of last season, with Kokcu impressing in the final third.
Slot is said to be weighing up a reunion with the 24-year-old, with the Dutchman managing him during his time at Feyenoord.
Kokcu is also a huge admirer of Slot’s, even once saying that he is the best manager he has ever worked with.
“He made me the player I am today.
He is the best coach in the world,” Kokcu told Portuguese outlet Record in November 2024.
As good a player as the Turkish international is, the Reds really do not need another midfielder, that is unless they plan to sell a few key stars in this position.
Harvey Elliott looks set to leave, meaning Kokcu could replace him, but even then the 24-year-old will likely receive very limited minutes, just like the Englishman got last season.
The Reds also have Curtis Jones who can act as that midfielder to pick the ball up and drive forward, although the scouser did not get much game time either, highlighting just how competitive this area of the pitch is for Liverpool.
Overall, he would be a very good signing and addition to the squad, but it might just be a case of right player, wrong time, suggesting a transfer later down the line may suit both parties.
