Although the news that Isak wouldn’t be playing for Newcastle again has only just been shared, another update has now emerged in the saga.
Since then, a bid has been made for the striker by Liverpool, and it seems like Isak has decided that his future belongs to the Reds, rather than at St James’ Park.

Ever since Liverpool’s £110million bid was instantly rebuffed by Newcastle, the Reds haven’t made another move for the towering Swede.
Reports have recently suggested that a fee worth around £150million would be required to prise Isak away from St James’ Park this summer, and although Liverpool likely have that much to spend, they need more than just one new addition.
Of course, only time will tell whether Newcastle and Liverpool will be able to agree on a deal, but if they do, it’ll be one of Liverpool’s most impressive coups of the window.
