Liverpool face Newcastle United on Monday evening in what is likely to be a feisty Premier League encounter.
The Reds are locked in a battle with the Magpies over the signing of star striker Alexander Isak, who has not played at all since the final day of last season.
St James’ Park is always a difficult place to go, but Anthony Gordon has warned Liverpool that it could be a ‘wild’ atmosphere on Monday.
As a result, Liverpool will need to be at their best to win, with Arne Slot no doubt keen to see an improvement on the performance that was just enough to beat Bournemouth last Friday.
In order to get the victory, the Liverpool squad could do with being at full tilt, with everyone available for selection.
But after Jeremie Frimpong picked up a hamstring strain and was forced off against Bournemouth, the right-back is facing a potential spell on the sidelines.

As Alexis Mac Allister noted recently, Frimpong has been ‘amazing’ since arriving at Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
That continued on Friday, when his all-action performance served as a reminder of the qualities he is going to bring to the Reds.

With Conor Bradley injured, Frimpong has played the first two matches of the season at right-back.
But according to The Daily Mail, Slot may be without the 24-year-old at St James’ Park.
They claim that Frimpong is facing ‘a race against time’ in order to be fit for the match in the north east.

It is reported that the full extent of the issue is not yet known, but it does pertain to the hamstring Frimpong complained about during Friday’s game.
Bradley appears to be still injured, while Joe Gomez is still working his way back to full fitness, presenting a tough call for Slot ahead of the game.
This is a genuine problem for Liverpool ahead of Monday’s match.
There are still a few days for Frimpong to be passed fit, but with games starting to ramp up, Slot will not want to take a risk.
There is still no word on Bradley, which in itself is worrying, although the Liverpool head coach will no doubt be asked about the Northern Irishman during Friday’s press conference.
In the meantime, there was some good news on Thursday, as Giovanni Leoni was spotted training with Liverpool.
As seen in a clip released on the club’s official X page, Leoni could be seen walking around the Liverpool training ground with his new teammates.
The 18-year-old is not an option to replace Frimpong at right-back, but does potentially free Gomez up a little more.
