The summer transfer window is yet to officially open, yet Liverpool are already putting in the work to improve their squad.
Jeremie Frimpong is on the verge of signing for Liverpool whilst a move for Milos Kerkez is now in the pipeline for the Reds, with Arne Slot getting business done early having won the Premier League title in his first year in charge.
As well as new signings, players are expected to leave Anfield in the transfer window, with Napoli in talks to sign Darwin Nunez as Liverpool’s squad looks set to undergo it’s biggest transformation in some years.
And FC Barcelona could now play a part in shaping Liverpool’s squad during the off-season with their revamped interest in one certain player.

According to Sport, FC Barcelona are weighing up a transfer ‘leap’ for Luis Diaz, with the Liverpool winger the La Liga champions’ top attacking target for the summer, with Deco also a huge fan of the Colombian international.
As per the report, Liverpool value Diaz at €80m (£67m), and whilst Barcelona’s financial struggles have been well known for years, this summer could see the Catalan giants make such an offer to sign the 28-year-old Anfield star.
Diaz’s contract with Liverpool ends in 2027, and the current climate of the forward’s situation with the Merseyside giants is that a departure could be on the cards this summer if a convincing offer were to be made.

Indeed, with Liverpool in the market for a new forward, selling Diaz to Barcelona for almost £70m could be a decision that many fans can get behind, especially with the winger looking unlikely to commit to a new deal with the Reds.
Diaz has enjoyed his best season yet with Liverpool, with the former FC Porto man flourishing in Slot’s attacking system having succeeded in both playing out on the left as well as centrally in the striker position.
Yet whilst Diaz leaving could leave a sizeale void in Liverpool’s attack, replacing the South American could be an easier task than most fans think, with the Reds already in the mix for a number of exciting wide-attackers.
Liverpool are keeping tabs on Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers whilst Borussia Dortmund are expected to sell rumoured Reds target Jamie Gittens, with either player an excellent option for Slot going forward should Diaz be sold.
