In fact, a new report from Italian outlet La Gazzetta Dello Sport outlines that the Serie A Champions are ‘focused’ on Nunez and want to do everything possible to take him to Naples next season.
The report also outlines that Napoli’s CEO Aurelio De Laurentiis has been allowed to ‘bombard’ the Reds with calls trying to get them to knock their asking price down so that a deal can be sanctioned.

As with the sale of any player from any club, Liverpool will want to get as much money as possible for their player.
Indeed, there’s still the chance that the Uruguay international stays at Anfield, but in the grand scheme of things, it feels like the Reds have done all they can to get the most out of Nunez.
