Federico Chiesa’s Liverpool future has been up in the air for some time now.
The attacker was brought to Anfield for a cut-rate fee last summer after Juventus decided that they no longer wanted him.
Now, with the 2025-26 summer transfer window underway, Chiesa’s future has once again been spoken about, with a report sharing what it would take for Napoli to come back in for him.
Chiesa is one of two Liverpool players who have been linked with a move to Napoli this summer.

The report outlines that Antonio Conte’s men may ‘return’ to Chiesa should they decide they want a new striker this summer.
Chiesa’s salary would still need ‘adjusting’ but Napoli believe he could be ‘approached’ without the ‘exaggerated terms’ that were previously discussed.

Although many Liverpool fans may feel like it’s a waste of time to keep Chiesa around, with all the changes rumoured to be occurring in the Reds’ attack this summer, the Italian is the least of their worries.
If both Luis Diaz and Nunez are sold this summer, the Reds would only have three attackers to choose from, including Chiesa, in the 2025-26 season.
With this in mind, it feels like Chiesa could have an important role to play at Liverpool in the future, that is, if Slot can trust him to play in his starting XI, of course.
