Now that Diaz has handed in a transfer request to Arne Slot, however, things seem to have somewhat changed with a new report outlining whether the Saudi Pro League club are willing to meet the Reds’ asking price.

As per a report from Spanish outlet Diario Sport, Al-Nassr are the only club willing to meet Liverpool’s asking price of €100million (£85million) for Diaz this summer.

The Saudi Pro League club have been ‘working’ with Diaz to try and ‘entice’ him to make the switch and leave Europe.

One of the main reasons that Liverpool are likely not entertaining the recent bids from Bayern Munich and Barcelona is that they don’t want to improve the teams of their Champions League rivals.
