Rather than going all-out to try and out-score a team, something that was more associated with Liverpool at the beginning of Klopp’s reign, Slot’s side is not afraid to be patient in their build-up, although they still play swift and attacking football.
Many attackers have benefited and have seen their numbers increase last season, but one man who didn’t was Darwin Nunez.
The Uruguayan looks like he has failed to impress his new boss and is no longer trusted in some of the bigger games, hence the reason why he is very likely to leave.
Despite a very underwhelming three years at the club, he is not short of suitors and another top European club has added him to their list of options.

When Liverpool played AC Milan in the Champions League last season, Nunez swapped shirts and wore the Italian club’s colours on the pitch at full-time, with many fans highlighting just how much it suited him.
Fast forward nine months and he might be wearing it more often as according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have added Nunez to their list of potential options for next season.

Napoli are also interested in the Uruguayan and are said to be desperate to get him to join Naples, suggesting a battle for his signature could be on the cards.
Atletico Madrid and Saudi Arabian clubs are also still keen on the 25-year-old, leaving Liverpool in a very strong position to drive his market price up.

A bidding war would suit the Reds perfectly as they look to recoup as much of the £85m they spent to bring him to Anfield, although it is highly unlikely they make a profit, or even come close to breaking even for that matter.
A fee of around €70m (£59.2m) was rejected by the Reds in January, so if a deal is to be agreed this summer, that is the minimum Nunez would exit Liverpool for.
Selling Nunez this summer could come at the worst possible timing due to Liverpool’s creative threat next season likely being off the charts, but this factor may not matter.
This is because positioning has never been his problem, finishing his chances has been and he’s had so many opportunities to prove his worth.
Although he has saved Liverpool at points last season and scored some very important goals, inconsistency is one of the worst traits for a striker, especially for a team pushing to win all the titles.
Therefore, cutting their losses and investing in a new number nine appears to be the best option, although the 25-year-old will likely always be liked at Anfield despite never hitting the heights he was predicted to reach.
