Liverpool’s 2024/25 season has finally come to an end, with all focus now on the summer transfer window.

The Reds go into the off-season as Premier League champions after an incredible debut season under Arne Slot, who blew away expectations at Liverpool by going all the way in the English top-flight to bring the title back to Anfield for the first time in five years.

Having secured the Premier League, the Reds have moved fast in trying to improve the squad for next season, with Liverpool set to sign Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen as a number of players also look ready to depart Anfield over the coming weeks.

And Liverpool have now named their price for one player to leave, who is already attracting interest from the likes of Everton this summer.

According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool are demanding between €30m to €35m (£25m to £30m) for Jarell Quansah this summer, with the Reds open to selling the defender in order to raise funds for more new signings.

Everton have already been linked with Quansah heading into the transfer window with the England international attracting plenty of Premier League and European interest already despite playing a bit-part role for Liverpool this season.

With Liverpool interested in signing Jorel Hato, the idea of selling Quansah is not a far-fetched one, especially with academy sales now more valuable than ever in the Premier League, given the financial hurdles teams must jump through in the modern era of the game.

And with Liverpool setting a maximum asking price of £30m for Quansah, a lot of teams could find the 22-year-old defender an appealing signing, even if the youngster’s performances this season have been below par compared to last campaign.

Quansah has had an interesting career since making his breakthrough under Jurgen Klopp, with the Liverpool academy graduate showing signs of promise yet lacking the consistency to become a real regular in the first team at Anfield.

And as a result, Liverpool selling Quansah makes a lot of sense this summer, especially of the Reds can get a fee as high as £30m for the 22-year-old, who could shine away from Merseyside for another top club.

Indeed, Liverpool know they have a very profitable asset in Quansah, who could go for big bucks to the right bidder, and selling the defender whilst bringing in a more appropriate replacement could be a huge win-win for everyone heading into the new season.
