The deal with Bayer Leverkusen is said to be worth more than £25million when bonuses are included, with Liverpool having a buy-back clause inserted into the deal.

And now, some new details have emerged regarding that clause.
As mentioned, Richard Hughes managed to insert a buy-back clause in the deal for Quansah to allow Liverpool to have first dibs on the Englishman should he manage to fulfil his potential.
There have been many different fees reported regarding this clause, but now German outlet Kicker have revealed how much it’s actually worth.
The report outlines that if Liverpool ever wanted to bring the defender back, the buy-back clause is worth a ‘fixed fee’ of more than €60 million (£51million).

Kicker also adds that this clause was what made the deal ‘possible’ in the first place, which shows Liverpool have faith in the youngster.
