Liverpool are working hard to sign Alexander Isak and plans are already in the works.
The Reds may have broken the British transfer record once already this summer but they will have to, and are prepared to, do this again to sign Isak.
The Newcastle striker has handed in a transfer request and is said to be desperately wanting a move to Liverpool, with the Swede also rejecting offers from Saudi Arabia to try and make this happen.
The Reds may have signed Hugo Ekitike already, but Isak has always been the dream signing, they were just waiting for the Magpies to give them the green light before making a move.
And, with Luis Diaz set to leave for Bayern Munich, the Reds have even more money and space in the team to go out and get him, with the latest update being the most promising so far.

Newcastle made it pretty clear all summer that Isak was not for sale, but after the 25-year-old did not travel with the team to Singapore for their pre-season tour, he had Geordie fans worried.
Now, as long as the Reds pay what the Magpies want, it seems inevitable that he will depart this summer, with journalist Sacha Tavolieri revealing that the two clubs are set to meet in the next 48 hours to discuss his potential move to Anfield.

He also confirmed that Liverpool and Newcastle officials will meet in the coming days to discuss the move and any formal offers, with the Reds feeling a deal around £120m might suffice.

The Tyneside clubs, however, are hoping for more in the region of £150m, suggesting that negotiations may take a little bit of time to complete.
The next week will prove vital in the saga for Isak, and there is a very strong possibility that he could even be unveiled as a new Liverpool player in the very near future.
Granted, Liverpool need to ensure that they get a fair enough deal if they are to sign Isak, but after getting this far, it is vital they complete the deal no matter what.
They have been adamant that they will be willing to go all-out for the Swede if he became available, so they need to now stick to their word.
£150m is steep so negotiating it down slightly is worth a shot, but at the same time, if they paid that for him, not many Liverpool fans would be too opposed.
Liverpool want Isak and Isak wants Liverpool, and with the ‘world-class’ quality he possesses, the ball is in their court now.
