Liverpool’s summer plans are starting to ramp up with three games remaining this season having secured the Premier League title.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s exit from Liverpool has been confirmed after months of speculation with the Anfield star expected to sign for Real Madrid, with the Reds expected to see a number of big-name players depart over the off-season.

As well as departures, new signings are in the pipeline for Arne Slot’s side, with Jamie Carragher predicting that six additions will be made by Liverpool over the transfer window in a bid to bolster their ranks for the new campaign.

And Liverpool appear to have identified one player who could be brought in this summer with virtually every position in need of being strengthened.

According to the Stuttgarter Nachrichten, Liverpool are beginning to show ‘strong interest’ in VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller, who this season has once again been one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga.

Noted by Total Football Analysis as a player with ‘exceptional’ composure, Stiller has been linked with Liverpool already this year, with the Germany international viewed as a potential midfield signing for the Reds.

However, this latest update from Germany seems to indicate that Stiller could become Liverpool’s main midfield target for the transfer window, with Stuttgart demanding €60m (£51m) for the 24-year-old Munich-born maestro.

Indeed, Stiller has more than proved this season with Stuttgart that he’s ready for a big move this summer, and Liverpool could be the ideal destination for the former Hoffenheim star, who is well-suited to Slot’s midfield system.
