Milos Kerkez is the next player expected to arrive on Merseyside, with the Hungarian’s move seemingly affecting the future of a “fantastic” Liverpool youngster.
Owen Beck is a player who has been highly regarded at Liverpool since he was first brought into the limelight.
Beck was expected to be given a chance in Liverpool’s 2025-26 pre-season, but with Kerkez’s arrival now imminent, his future seems set in stone.

Once Kerkez’s switch has been confirmed, Liverpool will have three senior left-backs within their ranks for one spot in the starting XI.
Both Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson have been linked with moves away due to Kerkez’s arrival, but at the moment, the latter of the two feels the most likely to leave.
This would leave Tsimikas and Kerkez at Liverpool, and to be honest, looking at the injury history of both players, Beck would hardly get a chance if he were to stay at Anfield.

This would then open the doorway for the Scotsman to be Kerkez’s deputy in the future.
Only time will tell what the future has in store, but of all the rumours to have emerged from Liverpool recently, this is the one that makes the most sense.
