Liverpool still want to bring in more players but they are being careful as they want to give others a fair chance to impress.
The Reds have been linked with star player after star player, and nine times out of 10 this window, they seem to be getting who they want.
The best thing for fans is that they are not done yet and additions at both ends of the pitch are still wanted, with the Reds potentially spending up to another £200m.
However, despite keeping an eye out for market opportunities too good to turn down, Liverpool are still being very careful to not impact the development or opportunities that some of their current stars could get.
Rio Ngumoha is one of these they want to kick on this season, with the greatest compliment the club can pay him being that they do not want to sign an £86m star because they feel he can be just as good.

Last season, Liverpool’s attacking options were nothing short of sensational, whereas this summer they have weakened slightly.
Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez have been sold, while the tragic death of Diogo Jota means three top players are no longer with the Reds, suggesting reinforcements were needed.
Come forth Ngumoha.
The 16-year-old has been given the chance to shine in pre-season and hasn’t he just taken it?

The Englishman has certainly not looked out of place one bit and, in fact, he has impressed so much that according to journalist Lewis Steele of the Daily Mail, Liverpool do not want to sign Bradley Barcola anymore.

He reports that the Reds do not want to block Ngumoha’s pathway and that once he signs his first professional contract when he turns 17, it might just be seen as some of their most important business all summer.
Steele concludes by saying that Liverpool are still huge admirers of Barcola’s, who was once called ‘superb’, but they will not even consider putting forward a bid as they believe their teenage prodigy could, in time, go right to the very top.
It feels a little greedy to say that Liverpool are still a few signings away from concluding their transfer business, but that is, somehow, the reality.
Going off the basis that Giovanni Leoni will complete his move to Anfield, with his medical booked in for Thursday, the Reds probably still need one more centre-half and then a forward, preferably Alexander Isak.
Marc Guehi is the obvious candidate and would be a more than ideal addition, while Isak sort of has to happen given how hard Liverpool have pushed.
With just over two weeks left of the window, the end of August looks like it will be a busy one for the Reds, but the super team that Arne Slot is building is almost there.
