Arne Slot has only been at Liverpool for one year, yet the Dutchman’s impact at Anfield has already been huge.
The former Feyenoord manager has this season led the Reds to only their second-ever Premier League title, with Liverpool fans getting a chance to finally celebrate a league championship win together having been robbed of the chance in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
With Slot spotted celebrating in Ibiza after Liverpool’s title win, the Anfield boss has cemented himself as a modern-day icon for the Reds having secured the Premier League title with a flourish, with the future looking like an exciting one for the Merseyside giants.
And Liverpool fans now look set to honour Slot’s achievement with a big change to one of the Kop’s most famous banners for next season.

According to the Athletic, Slot is set to become the seventh figure to join the iconic manager banner in the Kop end this summer, with the Dutchman joining the likes of Jurgen Klopp, Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley.
A mainstay in Anfield’s most famous stand since the 2009/10 season, Slot earning a place on the banner after just one year at Liverpool is a testament to what the former Feyenoord man has already achieved with the Premier League giants.
With Liverpool moving to sign Jeremie Frimpong, Slot being backed this summer could lead to more silverware next season having come close already this year in winning the Carabao Cup having made it to the final.

Indeed, Slot’s start to life at Liverpool has been nothing short of exceptional, and fans adding the Anfield manager to one of the Kop’s most famous banners so soon into his career on Merseyside is a promising sign of what’s to come in the coming years.
No Liverpool fan expected Slot to win the Premier League in his first season in charge at Anfield, with the Reds cruising to the title as Arsenal and Manchester City fell off in big ways having both been the two best sides in the country last year.
Yet after this season, Slot will feel the pressure to deliver next season at Liverpool, especially with fans now putting the Dutchman on the same level as a Klopp or a Shankly after their latest move with the manager banner.
With one of the best squads in Europe and new signings expected, though, Slot will relish in the challenge of going the distance next season with Liverpool, who could challenge for everything once again.
