Liverpool club-captain Jordan Henderson could be on the brink of a three-month injury lay-off, according to reports.

So, it seems that everything that could have gone wrong for Liverpool this season has gone wrong.

They say that Klopp feared the worst over an adductor muscle injury he sustained in the Merseyside derby defeat to Everton on Saturday.

Fabinho, Liverpool’s other emergency cover option at centre-back, is also on the sidelines with a muscle injury.

Jurgen Klopp certainly does not believe there is any great mystery there.

The report adds that the club fears the muscle damage is a grade two tear, which could keep the Reds skipper for at least six weeks.

And the latest reports on Henderson would assume he is right to think so, too.
