Liverpool have enquired about the possibility of signing Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard. The Frenchman is set to enter the final year of his deal at Bayern and has already this summer. Now, according to the first moves have been made to put that in motion. They claim that after Pavard was spotted saying a potential goodbye to fans after last weekend’s 3-1 loss to RB Leipzig, interested clubs are now queuing up.
All of Inter Milan, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid have also reportedly made contact with Bayern over Pavard to differing degrees.
So far, most of the defenders linked to Liverpool have been young, up and coming players.
Former Bayern coach Niko Kovac previously described the defender as being ‘world-class’ [ and he probably is.
